About RCA
Over 35 years ago, the Republican Communications Association (RCA) was founded by former Congressman Bob Walker of Pennsylvania as an outlet for press secretaries to meet, mingle, and share ideas.

Today, we are Capitol Hill's professional organization of Republican communicators and offer a year-round schedule of activities, including luncheons with notable guest speakers, media networking opportunities, and a job bank.

The RCA membership consists of a wide network of professionals who work in a diverse range of communications positions. Events sponsored by RCA provide opportunities to meet and learn from hundreds of others who work in communications on the Hill and in Washington, D.C.

Our luncheons and events have featured such well-known guests as former Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole, Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Tony Snow, ABC's Cokie Roberts, Sam Donaldson, Chuck Todd, columnist David Broder, former White House press secretary Mike McCurry, Chris Matthews, Congressman J.C. Watts, Ari Fleischer, Dana Perino, and many others.

RCA members enjoy professional development workshops, receptions and happy hours, as well as media gallery tours, studio visits, and useful roundtable discussions on issues and ideas to improve communications skills.
